Research Notes on Casino App Routing

Notes that explain behavior rather than give steps: why a link stays in the browser, what changes by market, and where routing ends and tracking begins. Each note states its scope and limits.

Start with the route from a search result to an app screen if you need the whole picture in one page. If a link misbehaves, the two diagnostic notes split the problem: why a link opens the browser covers behavior that is by design, and broken app links covers configuration faults. For mobile search topics, read age gates and crawling and why the web page stays canonical; for stores, store listings by market. Search the library below to find guides and notes together.

Routing Is Not Attribution

Why tracking redirects and verified app links do not mix.

Questions

How is a research note different from a guide?

A guide gives steps for one job. A note compares cases or explains a behavior, and it says what we did not test. Notes link to the guide that holds the steps, such as the guide to web-to-app fallbacks.

Do the notes include test results from real casino apps?

No. We do not test operators' apps or publish measurements. The notes rely on platform documentation and say so; our methodology explains why.

Questions about deep links on a casino or sportsbook site?

Send a correction, a source or a question about a route that breaks. A person reads every message.
