Signs it may be time to talk to someone
- You spend more time or money than you planned, or try to win back losses.
- You borrow money to gamble, or hide gambling from people close to you.
- Gambling leaves you anxious, low or short of sleep.
Self-exclusion and limits
Licensed operators offer tools to set deposit limits, take a break or exclude yourself. In Australia, BetStop lets you exclude yourself from all licensed online and phone wagering services in one step, for a minimum of three months up to a lifetime. In the United States, the national help line can point you to state programs.
For industry teams
Store policies require real-money apps to show responsible gambling information with local support contacts; see the note on store listings by market. Keep safer gambling pages readable on the web, outside any gate, as the note on age gates recommends.
